What You’ll Do

As a Housekeeping Professional, you will play a vital role in creating a clean, hygienic and hazard-free home that supports our seniors’ wellbeing and independence. A clean home reduces infection risks, improves comfort and promotes better daily living.

Your responsibilities include:

• General housekeeping – Sweep, mop, dust, vacuum and clean common household areas

• Laundry & ironing – Wash, dry, fold and iron clothing and linens

• Kitchen & bathroom upkeep – Ensure hygiene and cleanliness in high-use areas

• Home organisation & safety – Support decluttering and basic home safety improvements

• Infection control – Apply proper hygiene practices and cleaning standards to reduce infection risks

• Safety reporting – Flag hazards, unsafe conditions or concerns to the Homage team

Training Provided

Before starting work, you will complete the Housekeeping Professional Training, designed to equip you with the skills needed to perform confidently in homes.

Training covers:

• Workplace and home safety

• Cleaning standards and hygiene control

• Hazard prevention and fall-risk awareness

• Communicating effectively with seniors and families

Upon completion, you’ll receive a certification (Enhanced Home Personal Care (HPC+) Housekeeping Professional Training), opening up opportunities to progress into more diverse care roles with Homage.

About You

We are looking for individuals who take pride in cleanliness and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors and families.

Requirements

• Singaporean or Permanent Resident

• Physically fit to perform housekeeping duties

• Responsible, punctual and able to work independently

• Able to communicate in English and/or local languages/dialects

• Prior housekeeping or caregiving experience is an advantage
