Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Assistant to support our kitchen team in daily food preparation and maintaining cleanliness and organization. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work efficiently under pressure, and follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping, washing, and peeling ingredients.
• Ensure kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and sanitized regularly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including floors, countertops, and storage spaces.
• Stock ingredients and supplies as needed, ensuring proper storage and labeling.
• Assist with dishwashing and cleaning of kitchen tools, dishes, and cooking equipment.
• Help in the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations during service hours.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Report any kitchen equipment issues or safety hazards to the supervisor.
• Assist chefs and kitchen staff with any additional tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Previous kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and cleanliness.
• Good communication and team-working skills.
• Ability to follow instructions and maintain a positive attitude.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays if required.

Working Conditions:

• Full-time or part-time positions available.
• Fast-paced kitchen environment.
• Standing for extended periods and lifting light to moderate weights may be required.
