Cook / Kitchen Assistant / Chef (Part-Time)

Responsibilities

• Execute menu items according to established recipes and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)
• Prepare and portion ingredients required for service
• Cook and plate dishes to outlet standards
• Arrange and garnish food appropriately before serving
• Assist other cooks during peak service periods
• Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation of the kitchen and workstations
• Wash dishes and kitchen equipment as required
• Ensure personal hygiene and proper grooming standards at all times
• Carry out additional culinary duties as assigned by the Kitchen In-Charge
• Support ad-hoc tasks when needed
• Contribute to a professional, efficient, and team-oriented kitchen environment

Requirements 

• Basic culinary skills or relevant kitchen experience preferred (training can be provided)

• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices

• Ability to follow instructions, recipes, and SOPs accurately

• Good teamwork and communication skills within a kitchen setting

• Strong time management and ability to work under pressure

• Physically fit and able to stand for extended periods

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

• Commitment to maintaining food quality and consistency
