Job description

The Financial Planning Intern will support financial consultants in delivering holistic financial planning solutions to clients. Through the GREAT Internship Programme, interns will gain practical exposure to financial advisory, client relationship management, and financial analysis while working on real-world projects under the guidance of experienced mentors.

Internship Period: 02 June 2026 - 10 July 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing personalised financial plans based on clients’ financial goals, risk tolerance, and life stages.
• Conduct research and analysis on financial products such as insurance, savings plans, and investment solutions.
• Support financial consultants in reviewing clients’ portfolios and identifying potential protection or wealth accumulation gaps.
• Prepare financial illustrations, reports, and presentation materials for client meetings.
• Participate in client meetings and observe financial advisory processes to understand client engagement and needs analysis.
• Perform market research on financial planning trends and competitor products.
• Contribute to project work or case studies assigned during the internship programme.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to client documentation and financial planning support

Requirements

• Minimum age of 21 years old as of 31 December 2025 
• A Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Singapore 
• Must be an Undergraduate 
• Completed National Service obligations (for male applicants) 
• Not a current or discharged bankrupt 
• Without unsecured financial obligations, besides study loan 
• Not under any scholarship or bonded by any government organisation or corporate body 
• Not scheduled for any overseas exchange program during the Internship Period 
• Not on overseas holiday during the Internship period, that clashes with the program
