- Basic espresso & milk-steaming techniques, plus familiarity with grinders and brewers
⦁ Ability to follow recipes, dial in espresso, and maintain equipment (cleaning/calibrating)
⦁ Latte-art basics a plus, though you can train you on the job
⦁ Customer service & communication: friendly, approachable, listens well, upsells gently
⦁ Attention to detail: precise measurements, consistent brew quality, cleanliness
⦁ Multitasking & time management: juggle orders, payments, and back-bar tasks under pressure
⦁ Problem-solving: troubleshoot equipment hiccups and customer issues on the fly
FRONT-OF-HOUSE SERVICE STAFF

⦁ Prior work in a café, restaurant or similar customer-service role (min. 2 years experience)
⦁ Familiarity with food and beverage preparation and presentation.
⦁ Cash-handling and POS system operation.
⦁ Basic knowledge of takeaway packaging, order-flow and table-service etiquette.
⦁ Excellent communication and active listening—setting patrons at ease.
⦁ A friendly, professional manner with each guest.
⦁ Ability to work smoothly with kitchen staff and fellow servers.
⦁ Patience, upselling tact and problem-resolution on the fly.
⦁ Hygiene, grooming & food-safety awareness
⦁ Problem-solving: troubleshoot equipment hiccups and customer issues on the fly
