Love BBQ, live grilling, and working at events? Join The Smokehouse Collective as a Freelance BBQ Chef and be part of private parties, corporate events, birthday celebrations, and premium BBQ gatherings across Singapore.
This is a flexible freelance role where you can choose events based on your own availability.
Position: Freelance BBQ Chef
Location: Islandwide events across Singapore
Commitment: Event-based freelance role
Typical Duration: First 3 hours, with hourly extensions when required
Pay Structure
• $80 – $100 for the first 3 hours, depending on experience
• $30/hour for extensions
• Potential income increments for chefs who consistently receive good reviews up to $160/event

Responsibilities
• Handle live BBQ grilling and food preparation during events
• Manage charcoal BBQ pits and ensure food is cooked properly and on time
• Maintain food quality, presentation, and hygiene standards
• Keep the BBQ area clean, organised, and safe throughout the event
• Coordinate smoothly with event staff, clients, and guests onsite
• Deliver a professional and enjoyable BBQ experience for customers

Requirements
• Relevant culinary, kitchen, catering, or BBQ experience required
• Comfortable with charcoal BBQ grilling and live cooking
• Must have the relevant WSQ Food Safety / Food Hygiene certification
• Able to handle and prepare meats including beef and pork
• Responsible, punctual, well-presented, and service-oriented
• Able to work on weekends and public holidays when available
• Must be legally allowed to work in Singapore
